1. Qualifying persons
1.1. Dream Comps UK trading as dreamcompsuk.com operates competitions – skill based games resulting in the allocation of tickets and prizes in accordance to our further terms and conditions on our website www.dreamcompsuk.com.
1.2 The competitions are open to persons aged 18 years or over and residents of England, Wales and Scotland, and excludes members of Dream Comps UK and associates of the owners/ employees and family members from entering the competitions at any time.
2. Legal Undertaking
2.1. By entering a competition the entrant (Entrants, You, Your(s)’) will be deemed to have legal authority and capacity to do so, you will have read and understood the terms and conditions and will be bound to them and any other requirements highlighted and set out in any promotional material.
2.2. Competitions are governed by English Law and any matters that are competition related will be resolved under English Law and courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
3. Competition periods
3.1. Dream Comps UK can/ will run multiple competitions at any one time, these can be entered via our website www.dreamcompsuk.com, they will have a specified prize and competition length stated on each individual prize available.
3.2. Availability and pricing of the competitions are at the discretion of Dream Comps UK and will be specified on the website at the point of sale.
3.3. When playing/entering a competition online via our website you will need to follow the onscreen instructions, (a) choose from the current competition(s) you wish to enter. (b) when you are ready to purchase your ticket(s) you will need to answer the question provided of the specific competition you are entering which is based around general knowledge of the item you are choosing, answers are selected from the drop box below the questions. PLEASE NOTE THAT WRONG ANSWERS WILL BE CHARGED BUT WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE COMPETITION. Once this step is complete you will need to provide your contact details via email and phone number and payment details via one of our payment portals. You will need to check your details carefully and tick the declaration box provided to agree to the terms and conditions that the competition is run under. (c) Once payment has been processed you will receive a confirmation email with your details, ticket(s) number(s) selected and competition(s) you have entered.
3.4. Dream Comps UK reserves the right to refuse or disqualify any incomplete entry(s) if it has reasonable grounds to believe that an entrant has breached any of the terms and conditions stated.
3.5 The time period for each competition will be 31 days from the start of it becoming available. (Some items may start at different points so will be clearly stated on the item itself the date of which it is due to end.) We reserve the right that in the event of not all tickets being allocated in our allotted time frame to extend an individual competition to a maximum of 91 days (3 months). In the event of the tickets still not being sold at this point the prize will then become a cash prize to be won, this will be drawn the same as a standard competition with “Googles random generator”, in the case a number is chosen of a ticket that has not been sold it will be drawn again until an eligible ticket is generated. The amount won will be 75% of the money collated from ticket sales after costings and 25% to Dream Comps UK have been collected.
3.6. Once all tickets have been sold a draw date will be announced within 48 hours. The draw will take place via Facebook live on our page, and the numbers will be drawn using Googles random number generator, we will have a live demo run through using numbers not associated with the tickets sold to show how it works, this will all be done live with the chance for entrants to watch the draw. (Prior posts will be done before we go live for people to watch).
3.7. Due to the nature of the draw the first number up from Googles random number generator will be the winning number and will only be a 1st prize. Some competitions may have runner up prizes but this will be stated within the competition at the time prior to sale.
3.8. Once the winning number(s) have been drawn we will then reveal the winner in accordance to the ticket number live.
We will then attempt to contact the winner via phone or email using the information that they have provided at the point of entry held on our secure database. It is the entrant’s sole responsibility to check and verify the details they have provided to Dream Comps UK and update or change if needed within the competition course, we do not hold responsibility for incorrect details provided to us.
If for any reason, Dream Comps UK are unable to contact the winner within a 30 day period (which may be extended at our discretion) at the point of the winner being announced or they fail to confirm acceptance of the prize they will be disqualified as a result of not meeting our terms and conditions.
3.9. In the event that Dream Comps UK closes a competition early, the winner will then be selected from all valid and eligible entries received by Dream Comps UK prior to the date of closure.
4. Winners details.
4.1. The first prize winner will be required to show proof of identification at point of delivery or collection. Any failure to meet this obligation may result in the winner being disqualified and Dream Comps UK retaining the prize.
4.2. Winners may also be required to provide a photograph(s) and/or pose with the item won for our website promotion and posts that may be used for future marketing and to identify them as the winning of such competition.
4.3. Following the above, a receipt will be signed and completed to confirm delivery or collection of the item won by the winner as proof for the records of Dream Comps UK and the winner.
5. Competition Prizes
5.1. Dream Comps Uk prizes are chosen and determined by the managing directors of Dream Comps UK and are owned by Dream Comps UK at the point of purchase prior to them going live in the competition up until the date that the item is delivered or collected by the winner of that prize. Details of each prize can be found on the specific items page with detailed description and pictures/photos, including manufactures specs where applicable.
Dream Comps UK takes no responsibility for the prize awarded after delivery/collection, once the prize is received Dream Comps UK do not insure or warrant the prize. (Some prizes available will be covered by manufactures warranty and is therefore the sole responsibility of the winner to abide by the terms from the manufacture).
5.2. Prizes can be delivered free of charge to the winner within a 60-mile radius unless otherwise stated on the items page at point of it being live.
5.3. All the prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider, manufacturer or supplier.
6. Free Entries
6.1. To enter for free you will first need to have an active account with Dream Comps UK, this is in order for us to be able to cross reference personal data when receiving your entry. Free entry is subject to one per person per competition.
6.2. Per our terms and conditions for free entry, it is one per person and can be done by sending an unenclosed postcard via First Class post with the wording “free entry” and the information relating to the competition you wish to enter. The answer for the question provided on our competition page will also need to be included along with your personal details the entrant used when setting up an account. This consists of the full name, email address, date of birth, postal address and contact number we have on our database. Failure to do so on the free entry form will mean that the entry is then null and void and will not be counted in the competition.
6.3. Once the terms have been met for the free entry route they will then need to be sent unenclosed to our P.O box – Dream Comps UK,PO Box 134, CHARD, TA20 9DF. The entry must be received within the competition time period, failure to do so will result in your entry being null and void and not being counted. The P.O box mail will be collected on the last Friday of every month.
6.4. Received free entries will be collected and entrants will receive a confirmation email along with an assigned number for their ticket. They will then need to wait for the draw date and watch our live draw to see if they have won.
